All classes are all taught in a group format and there is a good amount of time for Q&A. You have the option to add a private 1:1 session with Alexa as part of your enrollment.
What should I prepare before enrolling?
We see people who are interested in #ELB School, but want to “prepare" or “figure it out” before they start. Please don’t hesitate. This curriculum is 100% designed to help you figure it out–and, critically, to help you make tangible steps towards employment while figuring it out.
That being said, we’ve been running and fine-tuning this program since 2017 and absolutely have some opinions about how to make the most of it.
Before #ELB School begins, you should…
get a copy of the #ENTRYLEVELBOSS book
while purchasing the book is not mandatory, we will reference page numbers occasionally in class–just like a professor does with a textbook
familiarize yourself with the syllabus and schedule
block out the time that you can dedicate to classes and follow up assignments
gather all your collateral/links into a central folder
out-of-date resumes, a favorite cover letter you once wrote, your half-finished portfolio, your LinkedIn profile link: having everything in one place really helps
